All Printing Resources (APR) has announced that the company will hold a one-day workshop on Wednesday, May 22 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Arlington, TX. This limited-seating event caters to companies that have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the flexo print process and want to gain a more advanced knowledge of methods and best practices to optimize and troubleshoot their flexo applications.

Beginning with a review of process optimization, participants will explore detailed troubleshooting techniques for prepress, plates, pressroom, inks and color. Attendees will learn ways of determining some of the root causes of challenges related to flexographic printing and how to solve these issues and take their flexo applications to new levels.

Catherine Haynes, Technical Training and Resource Specialist at APR, comments, “Our focus for this regional seminar is troubleshooting and process control specifically for the pressroom. We will discuss how converters can dig in for better ‘root cause analysis’ to figure out exactly what’s causing their flexo print issues. We will review criteria and best practices flexographers can use to effectively pinpoint whether issues are rooted in prepress, platemaking, mounting or the pressroom. We will show them how to incorporate valuable process control methods so they can compensate for, or correct, problems to prevent future print quality issues.”
